Sandra Fay Shankle, 73, of Decatur passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her home. Visitation will be from 12:30 till 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Decatur Christian Fellowship. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor John White officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Born on October 5, 1946 to the late Aaron and Wylodean Pitt Dutton, Sandra was a member of Decatur Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed working in the yard, going fishing, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina Boyles (Eddie), Tammy Shankle; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Elgin, Elton, and Alton; and sisters, Shelby, Peggy, Donna, and Linda.
Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Shankle.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to her sister, Peggy Lasater for all of her care and support given to Sandra.
