Samuel Thomas “Tom” McDonald, age 63, of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Sardis Cemetery on the River Road.
Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his Parents-James and Dollie McDonald; Grandparents-James and Ruby McDonald, Tom and Tiny Broglin.
He is survived by his Daughter-Shelby Elaine McDonald of Richmond, VA; Sisters-Darlene Boshell (Kenneth) and Teresa Gilliland of Jasper; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Tom is also survived by his girlfriend and partner of 8 years-Carol Goldsmith Burt. They shared many good times traveling often to Georgia to visit Chris and Lindsey Pittman and the kids Coen and Sophie who he loved dearly.
However, if you were to ask Tom, what was your greatest accomplishment, a smile would reach from ear to ear as he spoke of his beautiful and amazing daughter Shelby.
