Samuel Norris Fowler, age 89, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Generations of Vernon. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 3:00 pm from Full Gospel Worship Center with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery in Crossville. Bro. James Godsey, Brian Ives and Devin Cantrell will officiate. Visitation will be at the worship center Friday afternoon from 2:00pm until service time at 3:00pm.
Samuel was born May 25, 1924 in Lamar County, AL to the late Van and Nora DuBose Fowler. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed playing dominos. Samuel was a member of Full Gospel Worship Center.

Sister: Louise (Claude) Brand, Fayette, AL
Grandchildren: Brian (Kellie) Ives, Bradley Cantrell, Tina (Stanley) Gallop, Devin Cantrell (Jessica Norris)
Great Grandchildren: Hunter Gallop, Zachary and Addison Ives
Preceded in death by: Parents: Van and Nora Fowler Wife: Willie “Ruth” Hester Fowler Brothers: Coy, Brooks, Lester and Ed Fowler Sisters: Margie Haynes, Odell Carter, Estelle Hallman and Reba Price.
