Samuel Newton Youngblood Jr. – Obituary

Sam Youngblood, 79, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Shelby Brookwood Hospital.

He is survived by his sons Barry Don Youngblood of Walnut Grove, AL, and Samuel Shane (Mandy) Youngblood of Alabaster, AL, 4 Grandchildren, Maghan, Ashleigh, Lindsey, and Matthew Youngblood and sister-in-law Glenda Youngblood of Tupelo, MS, and former daughter-in-law Rita Youngblood of Tuscumbia, AL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lane Rushing Youngblood, his parents, Samuel & Bessie and his brothers, Guy and Max (Caroline) and sisters Pat Gann and Polly Klaesen.

Memorial Services held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 3:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel. Pat Parke and Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
