Samuel Houston Seat, age 95, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 8th, 2026, at The Nursing Center at Little Creek in Knoxville.
Samuel was born October 22nd, 1930, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Emery and Grace Wray Seat.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Odence Foster Seat, daughter, Janie Elaine Seat of Cosby, TN, son, Sam (Ann) Seat of Knoxville, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Elliott of Knoxville, Trey Seat of Rockwood, and Bradley Seat of Ashville, NC, great granddaughters, Hailey, Brooke and Hudson.
He was a retired accountant and auditor for the State of Tennessee and was a member and former deacon of Crieve Hall Church of Christ. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Era. He also enjoyed all things musical, especially playing his fiddle.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory 324 W. Church Street Lewisburg, TN on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, at 11:00 am at London Funeral Home and Crematory 324 W. Church Street Lewisburg, TN with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery.
