Samuel Estal Howell was born August 20, 1939 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Enloe and Essie Vaughn Howell. He was a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge. Mr. Howell departed this life on July 25, 2018 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days.

He is survived by his children: Mary Sue Harbin and Mike, Shelia Dillon and Penny Howell all of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Rethel Miller of Jackson, TN, Gale Lowrance of Bethel Springs, TN; numerous grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Howell was preceded in death by a daughter, Teressa Howell; a sister, Betty Tackett; five brothers: Leslie Floyd “Bug”, Ansel, Ervin, Leroy and Roger Howell.
Private service will be held.
Burial in McCalips Chapel Cemetery.
