Samuel David Darty, age 90 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Coal City Cemetery. Joe Fowler and Adam Darty will officiate.
Mr. Darty was preceded in death by his Wife-Billie Ruth Darty; Father-Sam Darty; Mother-Rose Aileen Darty; Brothers-Dale Darty, Don Darty and Terry Darty; Sister-Beverly Smith; Grandson-Michael Darty; Son-Dwight Darty.
He is survived by his Daughters-Cathy Gober (Johnny), Deb Atkins (Ronnie) and Laura Sanderson; Sons-Gary Darty, Danny Ray Darty and Danny Ray Reeves; Brother-Jimmy Darty; 15 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Kelley, Wesley Manasco, Jason Darty, Jeff Gober, Jeremy Sanderson, David Tyler Atkins, Braxton Betts and Chris Betts.
