Sammy B. Garrison, age 76 of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, December 07, 2024 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1948 to Charlie and Florine Garrison. Sammy was a caring and patient man, who would help you in any way he could. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking in the wildlife around him. Sammy loved his children, grandchildren and watching Alabama Football! Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. Where a service will be held at 2:00p.m. Burial will be at St. Paul Missionary Church Cemetery in Phil Campbell. Brother William Borden will officiate. Sammy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Garrison; sons, Sammy (Melody) Garrison Jr., and Joe Garrison; daughters, Brenda (Trevor) Jiles, Gail Marlin and Lisa (Eddie) Hanback; sister, Virginia Clark; and brother, Travis (Barbara) Garrison; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Florine Garrison; son, Ronnie Dewayne Garrison; son in law, Bob Marlin; brothers and sisters, T.V. Garrison, Jimmy Garrison, Junior Garrison, James Garrison and Annette Adams.
