Sammy “Alabama LeRoy” Fuller, 68, of Zip City passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday at Elkins Funeral Home. No funeral services are planned.
He was a veteran of the US Navy, a mechanic, truck driver, life-long CB’er and a die hard Auburn fan.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Fuller; son, Samuel “Sambo” Fuller; grandchildren, D.J. Fuller, Breanna Dixon, and Phillip Garrett McMasters; sister, Lema Ruth “Sissy” Fuller; and brother, David Fuller.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Ruby Fuller and one brother, Willie D Fuller.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all of their care and support.
