Sam Neal Blalock, age 67, of Indianapolis, Indinana was born September 28, 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Guy and Louise Prater Blalock.
He died on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his home in Indianapolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeff N. Blalock; and a brother, Don Blalock.
Sam had been a manager for Kenley’s Food Market in Noblesville, Indiana.
He is survived by a grandson, Casey Blalock;
a brother, Danny Blalock and wife Geraldine of Waynesboro, TN;
a sister, Kathryn Dixon and husband Oscar of Noblesville, IN;
nieces and nephews, Tony Dixon, Barry (Michele) Dixon, Lori (Andy) Wilmot, Melissa Dixon, Scottie Blalock, and Kim Martin.
Services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery in Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
