Sam Edward Boykin Sr., 66, died February 15, 2013. Funeral will be Friday at noon at David Temple Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Sharpley Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shackelford Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Shackelford Boykin.
