Sam Chester Cole, 93, of Warrior, was born to Byrd and Jessie Cole on January 2, 1925 and passed from this life to the next on December 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, the mothers of his children Wilma Lee Madison Cole and Lena Mae Hester Cole; his brothers John and Albert Cole and sisters Ola Sanders, Helen Mosley, Bertha Capps and Alter Johnsey, as well as two children and three grandchildren. Mr. Cole is survived by his children Sam Cole Jr.(Wanda), Margaret Sheppard, Donna Doss (Steve), Darryl Cole, Carol Penhale (Jim), Kenneth Aderholt (Kelly), Sue Brakefield and Connie Alexander (Ricky). His sister Edlene Alexander; grandchildren Tommy Cole (Jamae), Barbra Cunningham (Don), Bobby Sheppard (Lynn), Boo Sheppard (Tracy), Sam Sheppard(Teresa), Khristi Driver, Amanda Daniel(Brandon), Stephanie Amuso (Robbie), Derreck Cole, Emily Cole, Amy Cole, Anthony Sellers (Mary), Whitney Sellers, Zack Sellers (Rachel), Janice Johnson, Linda Buzbee (Randell), Michelle Niblett, Scott Niblett (Kristie), David Aderholt (Carol), Steven Aderholt (Jessica), Cindy Rogers (Johnny), Richard Alexander (Misty) and Bradley Alexander; as well as 37 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Cole was also a long time member of the Maryland Masonic Lodge #783 in Sipsey. Services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Chapel on Monday December 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Visitation is from 12:30- 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Williams Chapel Cemetery.
