FLORENCE – The plans have been in the works for weeks. Lot of kids, cartoons, a magic show and Santa Claus were the order of the day.
This annual event is planned and executed by Salvation Army which partners with the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa. Monday’s event was attended by about 150 kids and their parents.
Larry Bowser, Marriott General Manager filled in for Santa and delivered toys to the children. Even Mrs. Claus and an elf were there to help things out.
