Ruth Whitlock Warren, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 20, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Harold Warren, and son Keith Warren, and survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Warren Inman, and four grandchildren, Caroline, Sarah, Archie and Grace Inman, all of Tuscumbia.
Per her wishes there will be no services, and in lieu of flowers please make a donation to any veteran’s organization of your choosing in her honor.
Ruth was a native of Tuscumbia and a lifelong member of Fourth Street Church of Christ. After spending many years traveling with her husband during his military career, they settled into retirement in Tuscumbia, the city she loved so much where her fondest memories were of riding her bicycle around town and cheering on the Deshler Tigers during her high school days. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
