Ruth Steakley Ray, age 90 of Huntsville passed away December 26, 2020.
She is survived by her children, Patsy Ray Watkins, Vicki Gurley (Buddy), Judy Crawford (Stan), and Steve Ray (Mary Jo); sister Rita Johnson (Robert); seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Coyle Ray, and grandson Justin Johnson.
She died peacefully at home with her family by her side. Her family wants to thank her caregivers, and Hospice Family Care for showing such amazing love and compassion for their loved one.
There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Altzheimer’s Association of America.
