Ruth Ray, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gordon Ray, son, Jim Ray, daughter, Debra Sampieri, sister, Dorothy Duncan and brother, Robert Toone.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Goodman; grandchildren, Glenn Cantley, Mike Ray, Ricky Ray, Jennifer Janzen, Terry Goodman, and Justin Sampieri; great-grandchildren, Stephen Cantley, Brian Cantley, Allie Janzen, Tyler Sampieri, Ella Grace Sampieri, and Mikalla Goodman; niece Carol Fincher; and nephew, Larry Duncan.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Steve Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
