Mrs. Ruth Margaret (Sanford) Connally , age 87 of Gurley, died Friday.
She is survived by her loving husband Ernest Thomas Connally, two daughters, Phyllis Connally Williamson and Carol Connally-Walters, four grandchildren, Jennifer Ward, and husband Ernie, Leslie Van Zant, and husband Richard, Emmaline Walters-Barnhill, and husband Bryan, and Connally Sanford Walters, and four great-grandchildren, Rachael Ward, Christian Ward, Nate Van Zant, and Lily Van Zant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Mrs. Connally will lie-in-state at Gurley United Methodist Church Sunday 1:30 to 2:30pm. A service will follow at 2:30 PM with James Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Gurley City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Gurley Public Library.
