Ruth Mae Pace, 92, a resident of Florence, passed away November 23, 2013. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and retired from ECM Hospital where she worked as a nurse.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Pace; son, Douglas Pace; parents, Samuel and Mary Kennedy Denson.
She is survived by her son, Steve Pace; daughter-in-law, Joyce Pace; special nieces including Jeannie Johnson; grandchildren, Stephen Pace , Stephanie South (Danny), Samantha Dalton (Shaun), Amanda Faulkner (Mark), Heather Hartnett, Jason Pace; seven great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Kenny Rogers, Rex Johnson, Shaun Dalton, Shawn Hartnett, Jason Pace, and Mark Faulkner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Gordon, and Bill Gordon.
