Ruth Lynn Shealy, 88, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living, Alpharetta, GA.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, Decatur, AL.
Lynn was born February 6, 1927, in Decatur to Pauline and Ferrell Ratliff. She retired from Georgia Farm Bureau in Macon, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Shealy Sr.; son, John A. Shealy Jr.; and granddaughter, Christie Hallberg.
She is survived by her son, Larry Shealy and wife, Grace Shealy, Alpharetta, GA; grandsons, Whit Shealy, Decatur, Brent Aronson, Canton, GA, Nicholas Aronson, Marietta, GA, John Hawkins, Jackson, MS; four great-grandsons, Jack, Henry and Miles Hawkins, Jackson, MS, Noah Hallberg, Denver, CO; three great-granddaughters, Charleston Hallberg, Denver, CO, Brooklyn Aronson, Canton, GA, Kieran Aronson, Canton, GA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
