Ruth Helen Umfress, 88, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Dogwood Plantation in Fulton. She was born December 7, 1928 to the late William Marshall Cauthern and the late Vilie Arlene Rankin Cauthern. She was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. She was a member of the Garden Club in Fulton, and she was active in various church groups and organizations. She also was a great artist.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday March 1, 2017, with visitation beginning at 12:00 all at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. John Lewis and Bro. Scott Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her Son, Danny (Barbara) Umfress of Memphis, TN, Daughter, Lynn (Chip) Childress of Nashville, Grandson, Luke Walker, Granddaughters: Kristin (Brandon) Gray and Natalie Jennings, Great-granddaughter, Allie Gray, Great-
grandsons: Hank Gray and Levi Peace, Sister, Adene (Wayne) Miles of Fulton.
Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Doyle B. Umfress, and a Brother, Jimmy Cauthern.
