Funeral services for Ruth Geraldine Lay, 83, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18th, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Friendship Methodist Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Lay passed away Sunday, June 15th, at her residence. She was born January 28, 1931 to parents, Wyatt and Esther McCormick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Edward Lay; three sisters and a brother.
Survivors include son, Wayne (Judy) Lay; daughters, Debra (Sam) Coffman, Brenda (Joe) Haney; brother, Billy Martin; sisters, Bernice Rice, Maybelle Lindsey, Ruby Jean Rice; five grandchildren, Grady (Crystal Welch) Lay, Lisa (Leslie Johnson) Targett, Aaron (Jamie) Creech, Nikki Targett, Amanda (Paul) Snowden; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6-8.
