Russell Samuel Newell, 46, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at ECM Hospital.
Mr. Newell lived most of his life in this area. He was a member of Union Hill FCM Church and was employed at Lowe’s in Florence.
The funeral service will be Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be Jerry Hester. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Survivors include his wife, Cherice Newell; son, Kirk Newell; parents, R.L. and LaRetha Newell; brother, Bobby Newell (Linda); sister, Jennifer Bragwell; stepchildren, Brock Herndon, Haylee Herndon and Brody Herndon; nephews, Chris Newell (Brandy), Jason Newell (April), Kyle Bragwell (Jamie) and Kameron Bragwell (Leah); great-nephews, Kade and Fisher; and great-nieces, Valerie and Kinley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dylan Newell.
Pinkard Funeral Home will be directing.
