Russell George Hosler, age 82, of Albertville, Alabama, passed from this life on August 4, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1942, in Michigan to the late Clyde and Margaret Hosler.
Russell is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Hosler; daughters Maryanne (Jim) Ebersole, Margaret (Vince) Crandall; step-sons Jeff (Wendy) Isbell, Stanley Shane Isbell; sisters Barb Olson, Darlene Hosler, Cheryl Ohnesorge, Nancy Woodruff; brother John (Teri) Barns; grandchildren Bradley (Danielle) Selvage, Trey Isbell, Deven Hosler, Payden Weiss, Lacey Crandall, Lauren Crandall; special granddaughter Brittany (Lynn) Holsonback; and great-grandchildren Addi Holsonback, Paiseleigh Selvage, and Emmy Selvage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Karen Payne, Peggy Peterson, and Paula Gilbert; brothers Ron Hosler, Jerry Hosler, and John Appel.
Russell will be remembered for his steadfast love for family, his warm spirit, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home.
