Russell Brown, 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 25, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Donnie Bobo. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 noon until service time at the church on Wednesday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by four sons, Jeff Gingery, George Brown, Mike “James” Brown, and Russ Brown, and one daughter, Ruby Brown, all of Burnsville, MS; three brothers, Ralph Brown of Chicago, IL, Randall Brown of Grundy, VA, and Rammie Dean Brown of Wilmington, NC; three sisters, Janice Zolman, Janette Brown, and Geneva Gibson, all of Grundy, VA; eleven grandchildren, Kayla Waldrop, Ashley Brown, Billy Brown, Jagger Brown, Jeffrey Gingery, Juanita Gingery, Amanda Gingery, Mary Bowden, Amanda Statton, Josh Morgan, and Jacob Smith; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Brown; his parents, Sherman and Ruby Keene Brown; and a brother, Donald Ray Brown.
