Russell Allen Green Jr., 74, a lifelong resident of Morgan County, passed on October 3, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital.
Allen was known for his humor, love of Alabama football, fishing, and music. A devoted dad and friend, he was beloved by his coworkers during his lengthy career at the Morgan County Courthouse.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Faye Green, and his brother, Michael Green.
He is survived by his wife, Tess, daughters, Amy Hagedorn (Scott), Emily Boggess, and Hannah Gallant (Brandon), and siblings, Debbie Brooks, Jenny Cannon (Bobby), Pam Ward (Robert), Shelia Sulkowski (Michael), and Michael Lenahan (Cindy).
His family takes great comfort in the belief that Allen has been welcomed into God’s loving arms.
