Ruria Kathleen Dennis, age 86, of Florence, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013. Visitation was Tuesday, September 17, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be today at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mike Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Williams Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Christopher Dennis, Kenny Keeton, Tony Indelicato, Terry Keeton, Matthew Chambers and Wes Sharp. Honorary pallbearers are great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Mt. Hope Church of Christ.
Survivors are her children, Troy Wayne Dennis Sr. (Nyla), Wendell Dennis (Patsy) and Leigh Ann Balentine (Roger); brother, M.W. White; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
