Florence AL-On Saturday, October 6th come join us for the first Zombie 5K and the Undeadly Dash…. The 5K race starts at 10AM and the Dash will start at 6PM. Registration will be from 8Am until 9:45Pm on Mobile Street in Florence.
A portion of all event proceeds will benefit our local community through the efforts of The United Way of Northwest Alabama and Deadwood Hollow is proud to partner with them on this unique event! The United Way of Northwest Alabama is supporting nearly 40 programs of 20 partner agencies working to create lasting change in the community.
The Zombie 5K is a certified 5K race where zombies chase you through the streets Downtown Florence. You’re not just running against the clock — you’re running from brain-hungry, virus-spreading, bloody zombies. For Runners who don’t want the Zombie fun…..we can accommodate you with a special armband that will repel all Zombies and you will be free to run at your best pace and free of the fright (and maybe a little of the fun). The course ends at Wilson Park with award ceremonies and refreshments. All participants will receive an event T-shirt as well as a Zombie 5k “swag bag” with lots of runner goodies.

Not only will there be a run through downtown Florence but there will also be an undeadly dash. For those who love a challenge and love playing in mud. This “Undeadly Dash” will take place in Deadwood Hollow’s haunted trail. Come run with is on this twisting and turning obstacle run, fun and frightening all in one event. Help us retake the forset from the Zombies who call it home. During this run you will encounter not only the Zombies but hurdles, tires, a body dodge, climb over walls, a rope swing, a crawl under and a climb over, mud slide, paint gun shoot and much more. Every one who runs will receive a T-shirt and “swag bag”. There will be Overall winners Male and Female and everyone will get a Deadwood Hollow Undeadly Dash Dog Tag.
