Funeral services for Rudean Yates Lett will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 1:00 P.M. with Brother James Hendrix and Brother Alan Hurst officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Lett passed away on January 12, 2024 at her residence in Oxford. She was a born in Randolph County but grew up in and spent most of her life in Clay. She attended Lineville High School, had worked for Superior Gas as a receptionist, a cashier at Perryland for several years and also worked at Higgins Manufacturing and was a very successful Tupperware Representative. Rudean enjoyed her time playing piano for the Yates Family Quartet, Braves baseball, spending time on social media and was a member of Mt. Prospect Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters; Shannon Willingham (Kem) of Lineville, Tamela Willingham of Lineville, and Janet LeeMaster of Anniston, one son; Larry Lett (Brandy) of Oxford, two sisters; Joanne McDonald (Winford) and Rozelle East both of Lineville, and her brother Carey Yates of Lineville and 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Burrell Yates and Ruby Warren Yates

Active pallbearers will be, Kasey McGraw, Lance Lett, Waydon Lett, Jacob Stephens, Jesse Stephens, Jonathan Stephens, and Donald LeeMaster.

Honorary pallbearers will be Santawan Ackles, Debravious Simmons, Sarena Stephens, Candace Roszell, Grayson McGraw, Beverly Godwin, and Colt Spivey.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Thursday January 18, 2024 from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Friday.

Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
