Rubye Archer Brown, 95, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully at her residence. She was a faithful member of the Holiness Church for 57 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammye (Jamie) Black; brother, Tom Archer; nephew, Bobby (Sandra) Smith; nephew, Jack Acklin; special daughter, Janie Gaines; grandsons, Nathan, Jarrod (Heather); greatgrandson, Jase Black; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, W. E. “Perk” Brown; parents, Charles and Ida Archer; brother, Jack (Marion) Archer; sisters, Lou Ella (Andrew) Holland, Nellie (Clay) Smith, Gladyce (Bill) Binkley; sisterin-law, Nola Archer; and niece, Billie Acklin.
Special thanks goes to the ladies who provided constant care, along with all the Hospice caregivers.
Visitation is Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral is Monday, June 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. David Kittrell officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
