Ruby Tallent, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mrs. Tallent was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, and son, Danny. A member of the Church of Christ, she was known for her volunteer work and Christian example. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita T. Vanden Hoogen and Sybil Williams; daughter-in-law, Linda Tallent; sisters, Gladys Sanders and Peggy Acklin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 26 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Paul Owen officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
