Ruby Smith Haddock, 95, died December 4, 2020 at NAMC after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Florence, Alabama.

Graveside service is Wednesday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. Brother Chris Underwood, Highland Baptist Church will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Neal Haddock; parents, Arthur and Maggie Smith; stepmother, Viola, Smith; sisters, Clydie Smith, Jewel Dowdy, and Alamae Frazier; brothers, Haven Smith, Dalton Smith, and James Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Wilson (Pat); son, Billy Neal Haddock, Jr. (Gail); grandchildren, Jacqueline Braudaway (Mike), Jason Wilson, and Jessica Pringle (Tony); and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Haddock worked and managed Florence Drapery Shop for 40 years. She loved working with the decorators, seamstress and customers. She always made sure she never missed her favorite TV shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial s may be made to Highland Baptist Church or to the Salvation Army.
