Mrs. Ruby Newsome, age 88, of Woodville, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 12 noon at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Doris Lee (Ted), Janice Maroney (Thomas), Dorothy Ferris (Steve), Barbara Ann Warren, and Rose Prater; sons, Eddie Thomas (Anita), Garland Thomas (Pam Scharf), Bo Warren; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Winston Parson.
