Ruby May Youngblood Ross

Ruby May Youngblood Ross was born May 15, 1949 in Corinth, MS to the union of the late R.J. and Ruby Viola Rogers Youngblood. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Eddie Ross on February 2, 1968. This union was blessed with two children, Tracy and Thomas. Mrs. Ross spent her career working as an electrician. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Philadelphia Baptist Church. With her husband being a veteran, she was proud to serve alongside him in the United States Volunteers Family Honors where she helped to honor almost 2,000 veterans. She loved to work in her yard, spend time playing with her puppy dogs, and completing word search and cross word puzzles. Mrs. Ross departed this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Columbia, TN making her stay in this life some 76 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Eddie Ross; one daughter, Tracy Franks and husband Jeff all of Olive Hill, TN; one son, Thomas Ross; one sister, Peggy Davis and husband Tony of Chewalla, TN; She is also survived by two grandchildren, Drew Franks and wife Ashely; Nathan Franks and wife Danea; and three great grandchildren, Abby Franks, Talon Franks, and Lance Franks.

Visitation with the Ross Family will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel and again on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Brad Bain officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
