Ruby May Hill Jury, 102, of Leonardtown, Maryland passed away on Friday, May 15, 2024 at the Saint Mary’s Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a member of the East Prentiss Baptist Church, and she loved cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting and gardening.
A celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2024 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Burial will be in the East Prentiss Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2024 at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, Tommy A. Fortner (Carol); her daughter, Carol Knox (Larry); her step-daughter, Dee Haile (Danny); her grandchildren, Andy P. Myers (Jennifer), Dusty Fortner, Shawn L. Hill (Darryl), Clinton Pushee, and Angela Pushee; her great-grandchildren, Sadie Myers, Landyn Fortner, Brandon Ashcraft (Kristi), Josh Ashcraft (Victoria), Danielle Hinton, Chelsea E. Miller (Chad), Rachel Ashcraft, Tiffany McPhail (Kris), Kellen Polk, Logan Knox, Taylor Knox, and Ethan Knox; her great-great-grandchildren, Lydia Ashcraft, Tyler Ashcraft, Ka Ashcraft, Ryleigh Ashcraft, Cooper, Bryson, Brighton, Charity Richardson, and Kadence Miller; her son-in-law, Barry P. Myers and her granddaughter-in-law, Meredith Knox Smith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace Homer Hill and Nannie May Culp Hill; her first husband, Jr. Fortner, her second husband, Ira Jury Jr.; her, daughter, Patrisha A. Myers and her grandson, Tony Knox.
Pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Kellen Polk, Danny Haile, Darryl Hill, Randy Hill and Emil Kabban
