Ruby Louise Brown, 94, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Ardmore, Alabama.
She was born on Tuesday, August 8, 1932, to Henry Hobbs and Lorene Bryant Hobbs in Limestone County, Alabama.
Ruby lived most of her life in Limestone County, Alabama. She was member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She found her greatest peace in the quiet moments of nature, finding immense joy in the vibrant bloom of sunflowers and the gentle presence of deer passing through the yard.
She is preceded in death by her first husband; Kirby William Hill, second husband; Van Brown, one son; Tommy Hall, one grandson; Chris Hall, both her parents, three brothers: James Hobbs, Wayne Hobbs, Joe Hobbs, one sister; Bertha Cluxton.
Ruby is survived by one son; James (Mary) Hill, two daughters: Eula (Ricky) Clemons, Margaret Ann Posey, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, four sisters: Elaine Claunch, Libby Hughes, Ivene Sweeney, Patricia Hargrove.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
