Ruby Lois Murphy, age 87 of Cordova passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at Brookwood Baptist. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Stewart Chapel Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding her in death was her parents, Marlin and Ora Lee Hand; husband, William Raymond Murphy; partner, Lawrence Blair; son, William Johnny Murphy; 6 siblings; grandson, Daniel Phillips.
Survivors include her children, Annie Freeman, Eva (Robert) Guthrie, Mary Colburn and Raymond Murphy; grandchildren, Crystal, Randall, Holly, Steven, Robert, Linda, Jonathan, Samantha, Dylan and Levi; with a host of great and great great grandchildren.
