Funeral for Ruby Lee Terry, 68, of Trinity will be Friday, August 30, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Raper Cemetery.
Mrs. Terry died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at her residence. She was born April 15, 1945, in Morgan County to Gurley Fonso Jones and Ozell Raper Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Terry; three sons, Keith Terry (Lisa) of Decatur, Joey Terry (Hilda) of Decatur and Royal Terry (Amy) of Danville; two daughters, Cynthia Terry (Rick) of Decatur and Joan Hagemaker (Kenneth) of Trinity; two brothers, Cecil Jones and Roger Jones, both of Decatur; one sister, Sarah Dodds (Donnie) of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Fleming, Dexter Allen, Kel Roberts, Michael Dodds, Brian Barnes and Daniel Hogan.
