Ruby Leatha Mohundro Stewart, age 96, departed this earthly life and entered her Heavenly Home peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at her home in Walnut, surrounded by her beloved family.
A funeral service honoring Mrs. Stewart’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Porterfield and Bro. Doc Dollar officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ripley Funeral Home and will continue on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Walnut, Mississippi.
