Ruby Karnese Williams Trevathan, 99, of Leoma, TN, passed away November 5, 2021 at her home. Karnese was a native of Ridgely, TN and a retired secretary for Raleigh Church of Christ. She was a member of Leoma Church of Christ, a former Bible Class Teacher, and loved to sew, quilt, crochet, and knit. Karnese is survived by: Son: Mark Trevathan (Debbie) of Wetumpka, AL Daughter: Sarah Hale of Leoma, TN Grandchildren: Corey (Alisha), Amy (Braxton), Matthew (Holly), Jeremy, and Rebekah (Willard) Great-grandchildren: Will, Ella Grace, and Emma Love Trevathan; Jaxon Pace; SarahBeth Eldridge; Walker and Charlie May; and Morgan Hale She was preceded in death by: Husband: Lucian Trevathan Daughter: Marcella Trevathan Parents: Herbert J. Williams and Lillie Beulah Mathis Williams Sister: Rovene Barron Son-In-Law: Charles Hale Visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rodney Livingston and Corey Trevathan officiating. Burial will follow at Five Points Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Trevathan, Will Trevathan, Jaxon Pace, Matt Hale, Jeremy Hale, and Willard May. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Moss, Walker May, Charlie May, Craig Marcus, Mike Morrison, Michael McGraw, and Braxton Eldridge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Scholarship Fund at Leoma Church of Christ. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
