Ruby Fowler, age 90, of Harvest, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Verlon Fowler; her son, Harold (Alisa) Fowler; her parents, Joseph and Maudie Sotherland; her brothers, J.T. and Dennis; and her sisters, Bobbie Coshatt, Mary Fox, Glenda Gaddy, and Gladys Bearden.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Janet (Stan) Dempsey; her sons, Russell (Heidi) Fowler and Michael Fowler; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at New Hope Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens, Thursday at 1:00 PM with Shane Dempsey officiating.
