Ruby Faye Tate Hand, 75, of Leighton, died Friday. November 30, 2012. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Greg Beasley will officiate. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Mrs. Hand was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Donald Hand, Sr. and her parents, Ransom Jody Tate and Willie Mea Greer. Survivors include her sons, Roy D. hand, Jr. (Nancy), Glenn Hand (Sherry), and Ronald Joe Hand; daughter, Pamela Faye Hand; brother Paul Tate; grandchildren, Tabitha Randolph, Stephanie Brown, and Chad Hand; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tyrone Lowery, Trevor Jones, Ray Counts, Cody Brown, Jason Randolph, Donnie Mahanta, Joe Summers, and Scott Oliver. Honorary pallbearer will be Buddy Mitchell. Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia is directing.
