Ruby Eunice Nobles Wright – Obituary

Jack’s Creek, TN: Ruby Eunice Nobles Wright, age 85 passed away October 2, 2012 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born and reared at Jack’s Creek, the daughter of the late Henry Luke and Beulah Mae Holmes Nobles. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1946 and married Worth Wright in 1949 and they made their home at Jack’s Creek. She worked in the garment industry at Salant & Salant Mfg., Garan at Adamsville, I Appeal at Scotts Hill and then at Jack’s Creek Elementary School as cafeteria manager from 1978 until 2001 when she retired. Mr. Wright preceded in death in 1983. She loved sewing, gardening and cooking. She helped make the graduation gowns for Jack’s Creek Kindergarten along with other ladies from Jack’s Creek. She was a member of the Holly Springs United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, LaTasha Phillips and husband Dennis of Jack’s Creek and a son Nathan Wright and wife Becky of Henderson; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Lila Sue Ross and two brothers Glenn Nobles and Raford Nobles.
