Ruby Dean Alexander, born on June 15, 1930, was called to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Ralph Alexander, with whom, she shared a deep and enduring love for many years. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Carlton Atkins, Jack Atkins, Jewel Blackmon, Laureen Lawson, Bobbie Jean Boshell and Pauline Atkins.

Ruby’s life was one of devotion, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her love for God was the foundation of everything she did. She was a pillar of strength for her family and community, always extending kindness and support to all who crossed her path. Ruby’s legacy of faith and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She ended her legacy on this earth with a great love story of being with her Father and loving husband on Valentine’s Day.

She is survived by her sister, Doris Justice, and four children, Belinda Day, Sherry Jones, Karen Alexander, and Timothy Alexander whose lives were touched by her endless care and wisdom. Ruby also leaves behind a large and loving family, including a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her spirit and values.

Ruby’s life was a testament to her unshakeable faith and her devotion to family. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to experience her boundless love and gentle grace.

Visitation for friends and family of Ruby’s life will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 2 to 4pm. Her Funeral Service will be held at Townley Church of God in Townley, AL on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11am. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Reverend Ralph, in the presence of the Lord she so dearly loved.
