Ruby C. Murphy, age 66, died Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital after a brief illness. She was born the daughter of James and Lura Waldington Clark in Milan, TN. She was retired as a nurse for the Jackson-Madison County Health Department. Ruby loved to cook, watching westerns, television shows like Columbo and Perry Mason, shopping, music, and she cherished her family. She was a Jehovah Witness of faith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Quenby Murphy of Columbus, GA; Jonie Murphy of Cordova, TN; one sister, Mary Vonner of Milan, TN; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mitzi Murphy, two brothers, James Clark, and Jeffery Clark, and one sister, Shirley Pollard.
In honoring Ruby’s wishes, there will be no funeral services and the family thanks everyone who has been a friend to the family and part of their family all these years and continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
