Rubin Edward Tribble, 94 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 30th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Tribble was born on September 25th, 1928, in Limestone County, to George Tribble, Sr. and Lucille Haggard Tribble.
Mr. Tribble is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lura McMahan Tribble; children Daniel Tribble (Jeana) of Biloxi, MS, David Tribble of Athens, Debbie Hund (Chuck) of Orange City, FL, and Donald Tribble of Athens; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers James Moss, Alvin Moss, Winston Tribble, and George Tribble, Jr.; sisters Agnes Tribble, Hester McGlockin, Doris Moss, and Alice Wadell.
There was a private family service held.

Rubin dying peacefully in his sleep will not end there. Where ever he is he will continue to watch his ever growing family continue to live peaceful lives with one another. As his firstborn I can attest this harmony in our immediate family can only be attributed to the matriarch of our family. I know he is somewhere out there smiling, knowing that this harmony will continue with our matriarch giving us the same comfort she gave to him and everyone around her for over 70 years.
