Rubby Louise Key , age 52, of Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Cherokee. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Faye Crowe officiating. Burial will be in Pride Cemetery.
Rubby was a native of Cherokee and a member of the Baptist Church. She was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Registered Nurse.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Mary Virginia Brown Key.
She is survived by her son, Cory Johnathan Key; brother, William Key; sisters, Kathy Helton (David), Chris Carlisle (Wayne), Peggy Key (Robert), and Betty Lambert ( Bobby); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
