Royce V. King – Obituary

Royce V. King, 84, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 10th at 2 p.m. at Second Creek Cemetery in Five Points, Tennessee.

Mr. King was a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee. He attended Sheffield First United Methodist Church where he worked with the “Good Old Boys.” He volunteered with the Angel Tree and was a past board of director’s member with the Salvation Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from Reynolds Aluminum. He loved Wilson Lake where he lived for 48 years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace, Stanley, and Alton King; and sister, Annette Holden.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stewart King; daughter, Kathryn King Andrews (Mark); son, Walter Stewart King (Daun); sister-in-law, Wanda King; grandchildren, Stewart, Sarah, and Michael King, and Will, Ben, and Caroline Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.
