Roy Wesley Wolfe Sr.
Roy Wesley Wolfe Sr., 84, of Jasper, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, at Princeton Medical Center. There will be a Graveside service Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 2:30 pm at New Prospect Cemetery. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Roy was born at Saucier, Mississippi on March 28, 1935, in a Methodist Parsonage. He went to Jackson Central High in Jackson, MS. Millsaps College in Jackson, MS., Emory University in Atlanta, GA., and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He pastored in MS., TN., IL, IN., SC., and AL. The last service that he conducted was March 8, 2020 and he loved his church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jimmie Hillman Wolfe; and his brother, Hillman Wolfe. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lillian Jackson Wolfe; son, Roy Wesley Wolfe Jr.; and granddaughters, Mary Ann Wolfe and Haley Wolfe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church 1301 4th Ave. South Jasper, AL 35501.
