Mr. Roy Wayne Humber, age 77, of Dora passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Rev. Kerry Turner will officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Per his wishes, Mr. Humber will be cremated following the services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Humber was retired from US Steel, and he was a member of Maryland Lodge 783. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Humber; parents, Jason Sr. and Gracie Humber; brothers, Eugene, Levi, David and Jason Jr. Humber; and sisters, Gail, June and Vera Humber.
Survivors include his children, Robert Humber (Angela), Roy Humber (Samantha), Thomas Humber (Cassie) and Melody Humber; grandchildren, Ryan Humber (Candie), Valerie Humber, Kenneth Humber, Hunter Gurley, Gabe Humber, Adkin Humber, Ahnna Humber, Nikolas Humber and Gracie Humber; great grandchildren, Rayna and Jenson Humber; sisters, Barva Allen and Martha, Doris and Wilford Humber; brother, Billy “Red” Jackson; family friends, Carl and Christ Frost; and many nieces and nephews.
