Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Roy Randell Burgess ,79, of Albertville, AL passed away Monday October 15, 2018 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. Funeral Services will be Friday October 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Johnny Morrow and Gene Lambert will officiate. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Friends may visit with the family Thursday October 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at AlbertvilleFuneral Home Downtown. Preceded in death by his mother, Cornella Pearl Wilborn, father, Elijah Burgess, son, Greg Randall Burgess. He is survived by his wife, Nell Williams Burgess, daughter, Melissa(Gaylon) Branham, sisters, Pat Russell, Sandra(James) Rankin, Betty(Mike) Trimble, grandchildren, Drew Helms, Samantha Helms, Chase Burgess, Carlee Burgess, Andy Easter, 2 great-grandchildren.
